Tara and Shawn were married on a pleasant winter day in February of 2022 at the historic Hotel Alex Johnson. This venue has some beautiful architectural details and is ideal for a winter wedding in the Hills.
Tara's bouquet was a loosely rounded bouquet with white flowers and a hint of blue. I wrapped the bottom in lace to give her a slightly vintage feel. The anemones in the bouquet (the white flowers with the very dark blue centers) opened beautifully. They are fun to include because the add a bit of drama with their deep blue centers surrounded by delicate white petals.
Justin always does such amazing work and every wedding I have seen by him is different and unique to each couple's vision. We worked together to design in this space and it was so fun to see the plans come together. Justin did all the florals and greenery on the hanging chandeliers. He provided the greenery garland and I tucked flowers into it. I created the head table floral design and Justin styled on and around the table. As a solo designer I really enjoy working with other creative minds and working with Justin always stretches my creative goals.
